I studied mechanical engineering at the University of Nottingham and graduated with a master’s degree. I joined Cundall in 2018 and became a Chartered Engineer through CIBSE in 2025. As a senior mechanical engineer, I bring my specialised knowledge to futureproof buildings, keeping sustainability at the core of my work. I have a keen interest in improving the energy performance of buildings and developing strategies to reduce the associated energy, carbon and cost. I am Cundall’s STEM outreach co-ordinator in London and an active member of our NextGen committee. Cundall’s NextGen group is all about empowering and encouraging the next generation of engineers to network and build valuable relationships within the industry and build confidence through attending and hosting thought leadership events.

Collaboration

Collaboration is the bedrock of the built environment industry. An integrated approach between engineers, architects, and contractors ensures that projects are delivered not only efficiently but also meet stringent requirements for sustainability and resilience.

Creativity

Creativity means challenging the norms to integrate low carbon strategies, optimise systems, and implement smart tools that reduce building energy demand. We go beyond standard design and use creativity to provide high-performance, sustainable designs.
