From the outset of my career, I was drawn to engineering for its balance of problem-solving and practical creativity. My foundation was built through a Ford apprenticeship, which instilled a strong technical grounding and a hands-on approach that still guides my work today. I joined Cundall in 2022 to translate abstract design into tangible performance, focusing on data centres. Seeing how every solution directly shapes reliability, efficiency, and safety is what excites me about building automation.

Creativity

Creativity in engineering means finding elegant solutions to complex challenges. One of the things I love at Cundall is how we’re encouraged to think past just meeting expectations. I enjoy exploring alternative approaches and applying innovative thinking that balances practicality with performance. Whether refining a control sequence or reimagining a system design, I see creativity as the spark that drives progress and lasting results.

Collaboration

Collaboration has been central to my work. I value the exchange of ideas within multi-disciplinary teams, where collective expertise produces stronger outcomes than individual effort alone. Open communication, mutual respect, and shared goals ensure solutions are both technically sound and aligned with client expectations.
