Sustainability

At Cundall, we are recognised as a global leader in sustainability. Yet, we know there is much more that we can and need to do. Business as usual is not enough.

As a global business, we became carbon neutral in 2020, and we are on course to hit our 1.5degree Science Based Target.

We ensure that we focus on sustainability across every part of the Cundall world; industry leadership, our projects, our workplace and our homes and communities.

Sustainability has always been important to us. It was one of the key reasons when we were set up right from the start with Geoffrey Cundall. He had a great interest and saw there were better ways of doing things.

We developed a sustainability roadmap to identify how we can make the biggest positive impact on both our projects and our world. We called these our six impacts. They are underpinned by on One Planet Living Principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goal framework.

We are now on course for all our global project to be net zero carbon by 2030, we have called this Zero Carbon Design 2030.

Cundall is taking a double pronged approach. We haven’t just jumped on a bandwagon. Sustainability has always been on our roadmap even from our earliest days. It is a big part of what Cundall is about and will be even more going forward.
