Site Due Diligence, Planning, Permitting and Feasibility

Data centre projects often start from an undeveloped site. This is where we can support our clients to determine the best fit

We work from the inception of projects: reviewing potential sites across the world, developing initial masterplans as well as marshalling the concept design through the planning and permitting process.

We assess all parameters of site selection including local regulatory and AHJ requirements, environmental requirements, geography/geology, power/telco availability, risk assessments for security, flood, noise, air quality etc.

We also develop site masterplans and building test fits. This can include designing brand new DC building concepts or deploying existing client reference designs.

Our power team also regularly work with utility companies to obtain power for the site and design the substation.

Our due diligence services help establish key issues and risks associated with sites and help clients make informed decisions on site acquisitions as early as possible and so make rapid progress towards site development.
