Cundall was appointed for multi-discipline engineering services for PwC’s 16,000m2 office in Emaar Square, Dubai. The project is the largest and most adventurous of its kind across the region as well as for the brand. Our team provided design and construction supervision for the fit-out of the office's seven floors, client and executive areas and training space under the theme “office of the future”.

The overarching design allows each floor to feature subtle references to different pivotal locations around the world. Key features of the office include a wellness suite, cafeteria, experience centre and theatre. PwC proposed to utilise the offices to provide a work and training environment, therefore the ground floor holds the PwC Academy space, a flexible meeting and training space. The top floor features a unique experience centre and events space.

Tony Owens, Technical Director commented "WELL projects are required to meet certain, high-level criteria across a broad spectrum of categories. This project required an in-depth understanding of both the built environment, and the operational requirements in order to accomplish this. It was a real pleasure for Cundall to partner with PwC throughout the design and fit-out of the office"
