Happy Lunar New Year 2024

Asia 09 February 2024

Cundall wishes you and your family a happy and prosperous Year of the Dragon 2024, filled with good health, happiness, and success!

This year, we again partnered with St. James' Settlement (SJS) and Family Joy Together to design this year's Chinese New Year artwork. It is the third year we have worked with SJS and its associated organisations to create Cundall’s CNY greeting cards, so we both celebrate the spirit of Chinese New Year and this also extend support to the families and beneficiaries in the community.

The drawing has been jointly designed by Sally Chow and Stephy Ngie, who are caregivers of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), respectively. The caretakers at Family Joy Together have been participating in watercolour painting therapy sessions to learn watercolour techniques and relieve the stress they experience as full-time caretakers.

We appreciate the vision and value of SJS and recognise its unwavering commitment to supporting special needs caregivers in society is truly inspiring. Our Year of the Dragon creation is building on the previous collaborations, such as CNY drawings from caregivers who attended painting and calligraphy therapy sessions and hand-crafted ceramic art pieces created by a group of talented ceramists who suffered from intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Every year the art pieces created are impressive, and it is an honour to collaborate with them and support the beneficiaries on their various creative projects.
