Gareth Lusk

I have been in the industry for over 20 years, beginning with my time at Edinburgh College where I obtained my Higher National Certificate in Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning. I originally joined Cundall in 2020 as a mechanical engineer and have worked my way up to my current role as a principal mechanical engineer. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work on exciting projects such as The Cairn Distillery and our Edinburgh office fit-out.

I’m committed to promoting excellence in the workplace through innovation, integrity, and a shared sense of purpose. Working closely with NHS stakeholders through framework projects has highlighted the tangible impact engineering excellence can have on public health and wellbeing. My passion for renewable energy drives me to seek sustainable solutions that not only meet today’s needs but also contribute to a better future. Excellence, to me, means delivering outcomes we can all be proud of – ethically, responsibly, and with lasting value.

I enjoy the chance to work with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders on projects such as the NHS. These frameworks can be complicated, and I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues around the globe to find a solution which is innovative and exceeds the client's brief.
