Darren Berman

Putting science and ethics at the heart of strategic sustainability approaches is the foundation of my professional practice. I studied engineering at Imperial College, London; Sustainable Development at the Open University and obtained an MBA from Warwick University. Having worked with investors, occupiers and public sector organisations for more than 15 years to create a more sustainable built environment, I joined Cundall in 2024 to drive our strategic sustainability services.

Addressing climate change is a strategic, operational and technical challenge demanding collaboration from all disciplines within the built environment. One of the best aspects of Cundall is how we operate as one team, collaborating across disciplines globally and, in doing so, build strong relationships with clients and project teams to deliver a lasting impact.

To make a positive impact in everything we do demands excellence in the strategies we develop and in the sustainability programmes we deliver. Most importantly, it demands that our work is underpinned by engineering excellence to ensure we provide practical and innovative solutions that both push the boundaries while being rooted in commercial and technical reality.
