Following completion of my mechanical engineering studies I was attracted to consulting engineering because of the mix of people and technical skillsets. Since establishing a solid foundation in building services design and multi-disciplinary project leadership, I have followed my interests to increase my focus on sustainability, becoming a Green Star Accredited Professional and improving building performance/emissions through my NABERS accreditation.
Collaboration
One of the best aspects of being a consulting engineer is bringing the best technical solutions to projects in an approachable and jargon-free way. In doing so, we provide the maximum benefit to the wider project team and final outcomes. It is a privilege to work with the other stakeholders of a project to see this realised.
