Cundall accelerates APAC growth strategy with global board move

Asia 11 May 2026

In a strategic move to reinforce its commitment to the Asia-Pacific region, Cundall is pleased to announce the relocation of Paul Kenyon, a member of our Global Management Board, to our Singapore office.

A Chartered Engineer with over 35 years of experience, Paul has been a cornerstone of Cundall’s strategic growth since joining in 2004 to establish the Manchester office. Most recently serving as Managing Director of Cundall’s European offices, Paul provided vital statutory oversight and mentorship to leaders across the continent. He is a prominent advocate for borderless collaboration and was instrumental in implementing Cundall’s work-sharing strategy. This initiative enables the practice to mobilise its best global talent for any project, regardless of geography, ensuring clients benefit from a seamless blend of global experience and local expertise.

Beyond regional management, Paul is a recognised figure in the commercial, mixed-used and hotel & leisure sectors. His leadership is reflected in a portfolio of landmark developments that have transformed the UK’s urban landscapes. Utilising hands-on experience, Paul has overseen the delivery of pioneering projects, including: UK’s first 5.5 star NABERS office, Eden Salford, Intu Lakeside Shopping Centre, Innside by Melia Hotel, Proctor & Gamble UK Head Office, Co-op Bank, The Island 5 star NABERS office Manchester, Twickenham Rugby Stadium, and the development of major mixed use projects at First Street, Manchester.

“As APAC continues to be a primary engine for Cundall’s growth, having a member of the global management board based in Singapore, will enable more agile decision-making and ensure our global expertise is seamlessly integrated into our regional delivery.” said Alex Saez, Managing Director of Cundall APAC. “This move underscores our vision to lead the built environment toward a more sustainable and innovative future across the APAC region. We are delighted to have Paul join us.”

Paul Kenyon added: "I am incredibly excited to embark on this next chapter with Cundall. My journey has always been about the 'One Cundall' approach—breaking down geographical barriers to ensure our global collective of talent is accessible to every client. Having seen first-hand how a strong culture of community and shared purpose fuels our technical drive in Manchester and Europe, I am eager to bring that same energy and collaborative spirit to our APAC region. It’s about more than just engineering; it’s about fostering the friendships and professional synergy that empower us to deliver world-class, sustainable innovation."

With Paul’s relocation, Rob Turner, Partner, takes over the reins as Managing Partner of the Manchester office, and Joseph Lazell, Partner, will lead the building services activity.
