Rowshi Hussain, Geoenvironmental Engineer, has been named in the Women in Engineering Society’s (WES) Top 50 Women in Engineering.

Supporting women in engineering at every stage of their career for more than 100 years, WES is the largest UK network of women engineers and advocates for gender equality in engineering. WES has recognised both Rowshi's technical excellence and her drive towards inclusion by challenging PPE guidance and involvement of new BS30417 standard.

Commenting on being listed, Rowshi said, “Being named one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering as a geoenvironmental engineer is a meaningful recognition. It highlights the impact of my work that often happens behind the scenes, from championing inclusive PPE to implementing wireline logging techniques as a tool for geohazard detection in engineering applications.”
