We are celebrating the success at this year’s Ground Engineering Awards following two individual award wins for Rowshi Hussain.  

Rowshi was recognised with both the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion award and the Rising Star award. These awards recognise her contribution to creating positive change across the industry while continuing to build her professional experience.  

Her success highlights the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation of engineers to develop and contribute to the long-term future of engineering and the energy sector.  

Speaking on the award win, Rowshi said: “Winning the Ground Engineering Awards for both Rising Star and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion are an incredible honour. These awards recognise not only my growth, but my technical aptitude for creating change. This acknowledgement motivates me to keep pushing boundaries, being a role model, and driving positive change across everything I do.”

Cundall was also recognised as a finalist in the Ground Investigation Project of the Year and UK Geotechnical Team of the Year awards, alongside project partners Dunelm Geotechnical and Environmental and Flotation Energy. This recognition was for the work done on Green Volt, Europe’s first commercial-scale floating offshore wind farm.
