Cundall expands structural offering to Australian market

Cundall is expanding its structural engineering services to be offered in Australia, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s 50-year legacy of delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions worldwide.

To lead this exciting new chapter, Cundall has appointed Nathan Dickson, a structural engineer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Nathan has successfully led structural and civil engineering projects across Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, and has held senior roles at respected firms including NDY, WSP and Meinhardt Group. His portfolio spans a wide range of sectors, leading teams of over 20 engineers on major projects such as La Trobe Institute of Molecular Science, Aurora Melbourne Central, Melbourne Airport: Terminal 2 Expansion, and The Poly Center (210 George Street).

Based in Melbourne, Nathan will work closely with Dong Chen, Partner, who is based in Hong Kong and brings over 20 years of international experience. Dong has collaborated with world-renowned architects on landmark projects across Asia and Australia, and his expertise will be instrumental in supporting Cundall’s integrated regional approach.

For five decades, Cundall has been at the forefront of structural engineering, delivering cutting-edge solutions to complex challenges across the globe. Our diverse portfolio includes a Guinness World Record-breaking rollercoaster in Dubai, Harbour Front Site 3 in Hong Kong, a major retrofit project in Singapore, the Busan Opera House in South Korea, multiple projects at Wimbledon’s All England Lawn Tennis Club in the UK, the Jinhua Hepan Bridge in China, and data centres in numerous international locations.

As the built environment shifts its focus toward embodied carbon, structural engineers play a critical role in achieving zero carbon outcomes.
