The project successfully repurposed the disused building into a modern 21st century workplace. Comprising of six floors of office accommodation ranging from 250ft2 to 8,500ft2, the building retains many of the original features – including exposed ceilings, steel and brickwork, wooden flooring and ornate staircases – with the introduction of contemporary finishes throughout.

The scheme incorporated alterations to the ground floor to open up the space, providing class A1 and A3 use with direct access made to the street level. Each floor plate has been developed to provide two spaces which are individually metered to generate flexible letting. The installation meets BCO 2014 requirements.

Graham Thomson, Associate Director, commented "It’s been a great experience restoring and reintegrating the original features of this historic Victorian building, which for decades was had been obscured and hidden behind the previous office furnishings. We brought the building up to modern BCO office standards and returned its distinctive character."
