Synchro Yards is a mixed-use development that combines a five-star hotel, hotel managed residences, private residences, multiple retail opportunities and facilities for conferences, arts, and entertainment. Located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea in Porto Montenegro, a former naval shipyard, now a large marina for yachts and high-end developments, Synchro Yards will create a unique retreat which re-anchors Porto Montenegro’s wider community and hospitality offering.
Our multi-disciplinary team focused on providing energy efficient and sustainable solutions to help the development target LEED Silver and WELL Silver certifications. The environmental and net zero carbon considerations, such as fossil fuel free operations, heat pumps for cooling/heating and hot water, heat recovery ventilation, efficient LED lighting and SMART building controls pave the way for Synchro Yards to be one of the first low carbon hospitality developments in the region.
Oleksandr Poborskyy, Associate comments, “It is a real pleasure to work on a development with an ambitious sustainability brief that strives for energy efficiency, carbon reduction and ESG alignment.
By incorporating innovative and sustainable solutions, making more conscious choices and engaging with all stakeholders, we ensured that buildings are more energy efficient, minimise the carbon footprint and meet the needs of hospitality guests, homeowners, tenants and marina users.”

Delivering sustainable luxury from all angles has been an exciting challenge and I’m proud of what our multi-disciplinary team has achieved on this innovative project.
