As a certified LEED Platinum office fit-out this 3,700 m² workspace blends functionality with contemporary design, creating an inspiring environment optimised for productivity and collaboration. Informa, a leading B2B international event group, now benefits from a vibrant space featuring a boardroom, multiple phone and meeting rooms, a spacious café area, and individual offices. Aligned with the businesses ambition to become zero-waste and net zero carbon by 2030, the design prioritises carbon reduction and sustainable principle including biophilic design, natural materials, and maximised daylight while subtly reflecting local inspiration.

Informa’s brief called for a flexible, inclusive workspace with sustainability and wellness at its core - leading to several innovative solutions. Notable features include a reception inspired by the UAE’s national Al Ghaf tree, LED lighting with motion and daylight sensors achieving up to 30% energy savings, and a fully integrated Power Monitoring System (PMS) with the Building Management System (BMS).

Marc Lynch, Associate, commented: “The workplace is undergoing a technology enabled transformation more profound than any seen in the past century. Hybrid work, digital acceleration, climate urgency, and a renewed focus on wellbeing have all collided to challenge traditional assumptions about what an office should be. Our multi-discipline engineering team collaborated closely with the dynamic Informa global projects team and dwp architects to deliver the most vibrant and technologically advanced workplace design possible. By prioritising sustainable design strategies, our team worked to reduce embodied carbon and bring the vision to life."
