Katarzyna Wachowicz

I joined Cundall in 2016 and currently work as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within the data centres team. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Interdisciplinary BIM from the Warsaw University of Technology and am a Chartered Engineer with the Polish Board of Civil Engineers. I have experience working on both international and local projects, spanning refurbishment and new build developments across the workplace, commercial, industrial and critical systems sectors. I leverage my expertise in CFD simulations, multi-discipline coordination, and digital engineering to deliver precise, high-standard design solutions for complex technical challenges. 

In the data centre sector, there is no room for error. I strive for excellence by ensuring every mechanical system I design is optimised for resilience and efficiency, constantly refining our technical standards to deliver top-tier reliability. 

Design challenges are rarely straightforward. I bring creativity to reimagine traditional cooling solutions, finding innovative ways to overcome site constraints. Engineering bespoke systems that balance high performance with sustainability is what I find most rewarding about this work.
