Saikindō is an immersive new Hi-Fi cocktail bar and restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, where high‑fidelity sound and mid‑century Japanese design come together to create a transportive experience. More than a bar, Saikindō reimagines the region’s entertainment landscape, bringing music enthusiasts and cocktail connoisseurs into a refined, art‑driven environment that feels worlds away from the everyday.

Cundall worked closely with a multinational team including CSQ (project manager and cost consultant) and international interior design consultant, AvroKO throughout the design and construction phases. Completing a technically complex fit‑out within a live, fully operational five‑star hotel required meticulous planning, coordination and sequencing to minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations. Our building services team delivered several engineering service upgrades to facilitate a 35% increase in serviced floor area and building services systems designed for occupancy more than doubling. An innovative, first of its kind, re-circulation air handling unit (RAHU) was also implemented providing a fully contained kitchen ventilation system.

Daniel Chambers, Principal Engineer said: “The recent opening of Saikindō marks a defining moment in Abu Dhabi’s luxury hospitality scene, and Cundall are proud to have been part of the journey. Working closely with all stakeholders in a shared pursuit of excellence we brought this high‑end destination to life.”
