Consolidated Property Services provide commercial cleaning and property sector environmental services across the workplace, educational, retail, and industrial sectors. They have management offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and employ cleaning teams across Australia. The company leadership recognised that embedding sustainability into their operations and systems would be beneficial for their clients, their brand, and for their staff.

Cundall was engaged to provide a comprehensive ESG advisory service including sustainability strategy advice, carbon emissions audit, carbon offsets procurement advice and support to achieve Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certification. Cundall is now working with Consolidated to develop year-on-year emissions reductions to align with a Science-Based Targets pathway towards true net zero.

As a service provider, Consolidated recognise that their emissions footprint forms a significant part of the Scope 3 emissions for their clients, including commercial property portfolio owners. To achieve carbon neutrality, they worked to understand their own supply chain of equipment, chemicals and other products and find low-impact, low-emissions options.
