Globally renowned financial giant Bloomberg has combined its two existing workspaces in Dublin into a single, state-of-the-art office space. Based within the new dynamic 184,000 sq ft (17,094 m²) Charlemont Square’s development, situated in Dublin’s central business district, Bloomberg’s office has already achieved LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum.

Our building services team focused on optimising system performance to enhance energy efficiency and operational flexibility. This included the installation of an intelligent lighting control system with integrated daylight‑harvesting dimming functionality. The works also included a full heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, electrical services, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), lighting, fire alarm systems, and general services. A building management system (BMS) was also installed to optimise indoor air quality.

Darren Kelly, Principal Engineer, commented, “We thoroughly enjoyed designing Bloomberg’s new home, which has successfully created a better office space. The vibrant, employee wellbeing focused environment seamlessly connects the Dublin office with Bloomberg’s global community, advocating a modern and sustainable workspace.”
