Monika Pachla

I have been passionate about sound from a very young age, since learning to play the piano and classical guitar. My master's degree in civil engineering gave me a deeper understanding of buildings, building elements, and other structures that I deal with on daily basis. Acoustic engineering offers me the perfect balance between my love for math and physics, my fascination for civil engineering and my passion for music. Cundall’s sustainable approach and excellent work culture were the reasons I joined the business in 2021.

The science of sound and vibrations is continuously evolving, so working in acoustics is a never-ending learning process. It is a very broad discipline and most of Cundall’s acoustic engineers come from different backgrounds. Weekly meetings with other offices allow us to share our expertise and ideas. Each project offers a new challenge, every challenge brings a new set of problems, and each set of problems requires creative solutions.
