What excites me about working in building sustainability is the scale of impact it offers. A single design decision, or a well-crafted policy, can influence how thousands of buildings perform. That perspective led me to pursue a Master’s in Environmental and Energy Engineering and to contribute to India’s mandatory Energy Conservation and Sustainable Building Code. I have since built on that foundation with certifications in LEED, Life Cycle Carbon Analysis, and as a GHG Lead Verifier.
Creativity
Some of the best solutions I’ve been part of were never the obvious ones. At Cundall, whether it’s refining a shading strategy or reducing embodied carbon early in design, those moments reinforce why thinking differently matters more than following the standard playbook.
Engineering excellence
Being part of the team that developed India’s national building code taught me that excellence means raising the bar, not just meeting it. I bring that same standard to every project, always asking whether we’re delivering the best answer or simply the most familiar one.
