Joanna Gaweda

I’ve been a part of Cundall Security Consultancy since 2021. Having graduated with a BSc Security and Crime degree from UCL, I am keen to keep developing in all areas related to security studies, and I am currently completing an MA Intelligence and International Security. At Cundall, as a part of the Risk and Specialist Assessment team, I have the opportunity to apply that knowledge by providing holistic security advice in the built environment context.

Being a part of a global Security Team and working across sectors with colleagues and clients from various disciplines may sound challenging. As a specialism, we always ensure that client business needs, objectives, and requirements are at the forefront and through collaboration and our pragmatic approach to security, we deliver comprehensive advice.

As a security consultant, ensuring the security of people and assets is my key objective. In our area, there is no room for leniency, incomplete advice or design, or simple mistakes which could result in much greater consequences. It is therefore essential that my work follows and is delivered in line with best practice standards.
