Jean Clavero

I joined Cundall in 2021 after graduating with a MEng in Mechanical Engineering. As part of the graduate rotation program, I learned the fundamentals of building services from different angles, eventually choosing to specialise in the data centre industry. My goal is to use digital engineering and net zero carbon initiatives to improve how data centres are designed – transforming them from electricity consumers to heat sources for communities.

I believe it is essential to think critically about the problems we face. There is always a better way to solve a problem, so if I find a task repetitive, I probably need to do something differently. This creative problem-solving approach helps us find innovative solutions, particularly within engineering teams.

Miscommunication is often the cause of many avoidable problems. The team spirit I have seen at Cundall is what sets us apart as industry leaders. We must continue to nurture this collaborative culture to maintain our competitive edge.
