Senior Engineer, Sustainability

Since graduating from UWE, where I studied Architecture and Environmental Engineering, I have spent nine years working in the construction industry, embedding energy efficient design and sustainable principles into projects. I joined Cundall in 2024 as part of the sustainability team in Bristol, specialising in building physics at early design stages to support robust planning applications.

Excellence

Engineering excellence underpins my work in sustainability, ensuring buildings perform as intended, while responding to increasingly ambitious climate objectives. I am particularly interested in projects that consider sustainability from the earliest design stages, allowing integrated, innovative solutions that are embedded into the design rather than applied retrospectively.

Collaboration

Collaboration is central to my role. Since joining Cundall, I have supported in leading the day-to-day management of the Bristol sustainability team and regularly work with colleagues across the UK. This includes close collaboration with building services, structures and acoustics teams to deliver coordinated, multi-disciplinary outcomes.
