Head and sholders shot of Thais wearing glasses and a mustard shirt against greenery

I have always been curious about the numerous ways we can reduce the environmental impacts of construction and development of buildings, from passive design through to lifecycle assessment. I joined Cundall’s sustainability team in 2022, just after finishing my PhD and a research project with the Building 4.0 Cooperative Research Centre. Working within a multi-disciplinary team enables me to put important concepts I learned into practice for our clients.

Creativity

Having creativity as one of our values means innovative ideas are encouraged and there is a willingness to try new approaches. This is especially crucial in the sustainability area, as it supports the global call for decarbonisation and helps establish a new regenerative status quo.

Collaboration on projects

Collaboration is hands-down the most efficient way of achieving great outcomes. At Cundall, we have the chance to collaborate not only with our work colleagues but also with other stakeholders involved in our projects, including the client, the design team, head contractors and suppliers.
