Dr Maria-Anna Chatzopoulou

Following my passion for sustainability, I studied Mechanical Engineering and pursued a PhD in efficiency optimisation of combined heat and power systems for distributed generation at Imperial College London. As a Chartered Engineer, I have over nine years of experience in designing engineering solutions for the data centre sector. I am drawn to the industry's innovation in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

I enjoy devising innovative solutions to complex problems. At Cundall, we strive to exceed our client's expectations by delivering technical solutions that push the boundaries of the sector. We aim to achieve unparalleled environmental standards in the face of growing digitalisation and call for net zero carbon.

I thrive working in teams. Most of our projects are multi-disciplinary and located outside the UK, so I work with international teams and liaise with overseas local authorities, suppliers, and client teams. Good collaboration and teamwork create a positive work environment, enabling people to learn, grow and deliver excellent results.
