Derry Kearney, Partner and Managing Director for Cundall Ireland, will be on the judging panel at this year's Building and Architect of the Year Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the awards offer a much-needed platform for architects of all scales, to showcase their work across the residential, public, commercial, and cultural sectors. The ceremony also celebrates the most innovative individuals and companies driving excellence in Ireland's building and architecture industry.

On his return to the judging panel, Derry commented, "It's a pleasure to be invited back for this year's awards! Each year, the submissions are getting better and more creative with their sustainable design methods. These awards truly highlight Ireland's calibre of architectural practices, design methodologies, construction management and delivery of prestigious projects nationwide."

The Building and Architect of the Year Awards takes place on 23 April at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, Dublin.
