Cundall has marked a major step forward in its Zero Carbon Design 2030 (ZCD2030) commitment through creating sector- and region-specific science-based upfront carbon targets that will guide all future design projects in the countries that it operates.
The new targets will provide measurable benchmarks across building types and geographies, enabling project teams to design, track and reduce carbon emissions in line with the Paris Agreement goals.
The targets, created by sustainability and carbon experts in the business, have been designed to respond to both regulatory and market contexts worldwide. In regions such as the UK and European Union, where sustainability disclosures and science-based targets are becoming increasingly mandated, Cundall’s benchmarks provide a science-based reference for our clients.
