Cundall is expanding its fire engineering services to the Scottish office with the appointment of Kirsty Walker.
Having graduated Loughborough University with a First-Class honours degree, Kirsty brings a wealth of knowledge to our fire engineering team. Her appointment is the beginning of our expansion of fire engineering, a service which we are delighted to welcome to our Edinburgh office.
Discussing her appointment, Kirsty said, “I’m really excited to be joining Cundall and to be leading the growth of the fire engineering team in Scotland. Cundall is known for technical excellence across a range of disciplines, making it a great place to be. The fire engineering team has built an excellent reputation and is delivering across a wide range of projects. I look forward to working closely with colleagues both locally and internationally to support clients with creative, compliant and effective fire safety solutions.”
Kirsty joins Cundall following several years at Arup where she worked on a range of high-profile projects, including the redevelopment of Leeds Station, a project which improved user experience and safety through facility upgrade and introduction of new entrances. She has also worked in healthcare, workplace and aviation. Her extensive experience and technical expertise in fire engineering make her a valuable addition to the team as we continue to grow our presence. Outside of work, Kirsty is a competitive distance runner who has represented both Great Britain and Scotland on the international stage.
