This year, Cundall has been appointed to a very special, very important project: To retrofit Santa’s village. No one is entirely sure when this historic village in the North Pole was propped by Santa’s helpful elves, but we are guessing it was before the time of engineering and design consultants.
Lucky for them, Cundall’s multi-disciplinary team were able to look at a number of different elements in Santa’s village and provide advice on how it could be modernised for the 21st Century.
As Santa was so impressed with our recommendations, we were appointed to carry out ALL and we mean ALL the different engineering work. In the procurement world this is somewhat... extraordinary. But what part of this project isn’t extraordinary?
From reducing light pollution so Santa and the elves can enjoy their nightly star-gazing rituals, to installing a mini data centre to store the naughty/nice list, this project intends to improve quality of life for the occupants, increase productivity, and reduce the carbon footprint and hoofprints of their lifestyle.
