FOOTPRINT+ is the world's most advanced international conference for the decarbonisation of the built environment. Constantly breaking new ground, it has set a precedent in the UK's swiftly-advancing and ever more integrated property and technology sectors.

On 8 May, Simon Wyatt and Darren Berman will explore the the European Union’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and the EU Taxonomy, and what they mean to investors, asset managers and developers on the Financing the Carbon Revolution Stage. Their session will focus on how to understand the current performance of assets, funds, and portfolios, how to produce comprehensive sustainability strategies for new developments, decarbonisation plans for existing assets and climate resilience strategies. The panel will also touch upon risk reduction and how to create opportunities for cost-effective capital funding to access and attract finance.

Later in the day, Dr Olli Jones alongside Dr Elisabeth Marlow and a panel, will discuss climate change resilience and adaptation; what it means, what it involves and how to mitigate and evaluate physical risks to individual assets and portfolios. They will also be discussing SFDR and the EU Taxonomy requirements, including how to review the risks to individual assets or entire funds for their physical, reputation and transitional risks associated with climate change in accordance with TFCD and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures.
