DCD>Connect | APAC 2026 is a flagship event within the region’s data centre ecosystem, bringing together thousands of experts to to discuss the design, construction, and operation of sustainable data centres for the AI age

Marcus Kan, Managing Director, Singapore, will be speaking at the debate: Is grid power or self-generation the smartest bet for data centres? He will be joined by Celine Xiao, NTT, Eric Hill ,CSB Energy Technology Co, Anita Gorny-Moloney, DCD, Jason Popiolek, DigiCo Infrastructure REIT, and Jane Tray, Clean Energy SEA. 

As data centres continue to scale for size and speed across APAC, their build capacities are being impacted by fragmented and unreliable power grids. This debate will discuss the feasibility of self-generation within data centres, the flexibility that hybrid solutions could offer, and what the next generation of energy and power could look like across APAC.
