Andrew Jackson, Partner, Building Services, will join the panel to discuss the best use of space and materials to meet UK's net zero goals.

To achieve zero raw material extraction, net zero carbon and zero waste requires a change across the construction supply chain, with design being a critical enabler. Questions that panel will be answering include:

  • How do we ensure an affordable home for everyone?
  • How do we retrofit our existing building stock to deliver an energy efficient, zero carbon UK?
  • How do we decide when to retrofit or when to demolish and rebuild?

The panel, chaired by Dani Densley-Tingley, University of Sheffield, will also include Rachel Hoolahan, ORMS; Talia Berriman, Newham Council; Colin Rose, UCL and UK CLT; and Flavie Lowres, Finish and Interiors Sector.
