Based in our Birmingham office, Andrew leads Cundall’s acoustics specialism.

Andrew established and leads Cundall's acoustic engineering specialism and has a wealth of experience in many areas of acoustics, most noticeably in building acoustics, architectural acoustics, building services acoustics and environmental noise.

Andrew joined Cundall in 2010 having spent 13 years with R W Gregory (latterly RPS). His project experience is diverse, ranging from large-scale BSF programmes (Tameside, Birmingham, Durham, Leicester and Stoke), residential developments throughout the UK such as Park Central and The Rotunda in Birmingham and Budenberg Haus Projekte in Manchester, healthcare schemes (from large PFI hospitals to primary care centres and surgeries), mixed-use schemes and commercial offices. He has also worked on a number of transportation hubs (airports and ground transport interchanges), law and order projects and sports venues.

He is well known and respected within the acoustics industry and is a regular conference speaker and technical author. He has been a guest lecturer at City College Birmingham on the HNC in Building Services (Acoustics Module), is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants’ Schools Committee and the Institute of Acoustics’ Building Acoustics Group. Andrew is particularly recognised for his work in the schools sector, being one of the authors of BB93 and on the original working group for BB101. He is also principal technical author of A Guide to Office Acoustics published by the Association of Interior Specialists.

Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and Church activities. He is also partial to a good bottle of wine and is a hi fi enthusiast.
