Yuill Petrie

I joined Cundall in 2025 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer after previously completing a summer placement in 2024 in the building services team. Since graduating with an MEng Architectural Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, I have enjoyed providing creative solutions and contributing to the delivery of a wide variety of projects. I am a main committee member of CIBSE YEN Scotland, where I act as technical coordinator.

Cundall fosters creativity and encourages out-of-the-box thinking, which motivates me to find practical ways to overcome project constraints. I enjoy applying innovative approaches to my work and collaborating with others to help deliver technically complex projects. 

Although I am at the start of my career, I have already seen how collaboration at Cundall supports clear communication, knowledge-sharing and project delivery. This early exposure has shown me the value of teamwork in developing well-integrated, innovative and sustainable solutions.
