My passion for structural engineering began while studying civil engineering and business at Swinburne University. As part of my degree I had the opportunity to study abroad in Malaysia and the United States, an experience that broadened my perspective and ultimately shaped my career – and a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco confirmed that structures were my calling. Since then, I’ve progressed from graduate to senior engineer to leading teams of over 20 engineers.

Creativity

Creativity is at the core of how I work, balancing the architect’s vision, the client’s budget and the builder’s construction methodology preferences is a very complex puzzle that I genuinely enjoy. Each project brings a new set of constraints and opportunities; and that constant challenge is what makes my work exciting and rewarding.

Excellence

Excellence, to me, is never settling for ‘good enough’ and I think this is what has significantly contributed to my career success to date. I bring rigour and pride to every project I’m involved in, regardless of scale or complexity. Pursuing excellence in structural design and project delivery is what keeps me engaged.
