Since graduating from Heriot Watt University with an MEng in Architectural Engineering in 2018, I have been expanding my building services knowledge across multiple sectors, joining Cundall in 2024. I am an IEng ACIBSE professional member and a member of the CIBSE council. I have also been featured in the CIBSE Journal and recognised in CIBSE’s 30 under 30 class of 2025 as an emerging leader.

Creativity

To address the engineering challenges facing the built environment today, I am motivated to develop creative solutions that provide the best design outcomes for clients. This includes both optimising existing buildings and delivering market-leading retrofit projects. I believe a creative approach allows for unique design and drives innovation throughout all stages of the design process.

Collaboration

Working with others to develop technically excellent schemes is the best part of working within the built environment. Collaboration encourages knowledge sharing and my involvement with groups such as the CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) shows how collaboration can benefit the whole industry.

I regularly participate in and have organised multiple events including a ‘lessons learned’ panel discussion with designers, clients and contractors, and the inaugural YEN London gala. These events were designed to encourage collaboration between CIBSE YEN and the wider building services community.
