At Cundall, I act as the lead mechanical engineer and Qualified Person on a wide range of projects, including large-scale data centres, major A&A works, commercial fitouts and critical infrastructure developments. As a professional Mechanical Engineer with over a decade of experience, I've developed a well-rounded perspective through working as a contractor, consultant and client-side engineer, I’ve been able to bridge design intent with buildability, operational performance and regulatory compliance. I am also passionate about mentoring engineers and graduates, contributing to knowledge sharing and raising technical standards within the team.

Collaboration, to me, is about bringing people together with a shared purpose, regardless of discipline, geography or background. The most successful projects I have worked on were not driven by individual brilliance, but by teams that trusted each other, communicated openly and challenged ideas constructively. I value early engagement and clear alignment of intent. I see collaboration as an ongoing process — listening carefully, explaining technical constraints in a practical way, and helping teams make informed decisions that balance performance, cost and risk. 

Excellence means doing the fundamentals exceptionally well, consistently and responsibly. It is not about over-engineering or chasing novelty, but about delivering solutions that are safe, resilient, efficient and fit for purpose — both today and over the life of the asset. For me, technical excellence is closely tied to accountability. It means understanding the codes, challenging assumptions, validating designs through calculation and experience, and standing by the outcomes as a Qualified Person. It also means continuous learning — refining how we design, review and deliver, and raising the bar for ourselves and those we mentor.
