Emil Svantesson

I started my career at Cundall with an internship in the London office in 2019 and relocated to the Hong Kong office after graduation. Through involvement in diverse international projects and working with multinational teams, I have explored various perspective on tackling complex engineering challenges and developed a sense of utilising digital tools to empower design process and foster creative solutions.

I take satisfaction in creatively tackling complex structural problems; from systematically iterating designs to reconsidering challenges and fostering an innovative mindset beyond the typical methods. By exploring more design possibilities, our team develops building concepts that push boundaries while being practical to construct with clever structural solutions.

At Cundall we are encouraged to fully leverage the possibilities of digital design tools which facilitate efficient testing of numerous variations through simulation to optimise the structural design. What truly fuels my passion is parametric modelling, it helps demonstrate my analytical and problem-solving skills while advancing the project reliability and excellence that Cundall is renowned for.
