Dean Gordon

I graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 2015, obtaining a MEng with distinction in Architectural Engineering. Having explored a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, energy conservation and acoustics, alongside general subjects such as construction technology and human behaviour, I joined a local consultancy specialising in mechanical engineering. Following this, I joined Cundall in 2021 and gained my chartership with CIBSE. I am passionate about decarbonisation and the application of new and emerging technologies to deliver efficient, sustainable design solutions.

Our commitment to excellence drives everything we do. A key component of this commitment is conducting lessons learned workshops for completed projects. By leading these workshops, I ensure that we continuously refine our processes and design solutions, facilitate knowledge sharing among colleagues, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. This approach not only enhances our internal practices but also delivers greater value to our future clients and projects.

By working closely together, I can deliver results that meet the needs of both clients and end-users, with a strong emphasis on Zero Carbon Design.
