My passion for mechanical engineering began in childhood, driven by a strong curiosity about how things function and connect. After earning my degree in building services engineering at the Technological University Dublin, I launched my career in Ireland. Motivated by a desire to engage with diverse and large-scale projects, I spent thirteen rewarding years working in Australia. Now settled in the UK with my family, I apply my global experience and technical expertise in a design management role, bringing a well-rounded, international perspective to every project.
Excellence
Sustainability is integral to engineering excellence as we strive towards achieving a net zero carbon world. I challenge all our clients to implement sustainable practices in our data centres projects to align with environmental responsibilities and ensure they enhance overall project efficiency and longevity. Incorporating energy-efficient designs, eco-friendly materials, and optimised resource utilisation contributes to reducing the environmental footprint.
Collaboration
My journey goes beyond just executing projects. It focuses on continuous learning and mentorship. Actively sharing lessons learned has created an environment that encourages collective growth, deepens expertise, and nurtures a culture of innovation. Emphasising mentorship has been instrumental in developing skills and leadership qualities and sustaining high-performing, cohesive teams throughout my dynamic career.
