This nine-level medical centre has been approved as a private hospital and is targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating for design and construction. The project incorporates large floor-to-floor heights, oversized corridors, large lifts, ambulance bays, end-of-trip facilities, a rooftop terrace and substantial plant rooms, plus ground floor retail and café.

We have provided expertise including modelling from design through construction to ensure the development meets Green Star targets, achieves low operational energy use and has optimal indoor environment quality. Our expertise in low-carbon building services approaches has also been applied assessing the lowest-emissions systems options.

"Medical facilities of this type do not typically target Green Star ratings, so our ability to work with construction teams who are new to the approach is an asset. The process of building contractor capacity around sustainability is a valuable part of the whole endeavour, not only for the immediate project, but also in fostering progress in the wider industry.
