Nalin Nanayakkara

I simultaneously studied for both mechanical engineering and management accounting degrees, but it was a career in mechanical engineering focusing on building automation and optimisation that I was delighted to pursue. I joined Cundall in 2022, and am a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia in electrical and building services and also a qualified NABERS assessor.

Working in the building performance team we always need to think out of the box when it comes to analysing and optimising existing buildings. Each building comes with its is own unique technical challenges and that excites me.

A multidisciplinary global company like Cundall provides opportunities to work with colleagues with different areas of expertise which in turn helps me to look at the challenges on hand with different points of view.
