Kieran McFarlane

My early interest in the built environment and development led me to study Town Planning and Property Development at Heriot Watt University. I have since become a Chartered Town Planner, gaining experience in both public and private sector roles on projects in Scotland and England. I am passionate about planning because it responds to the needs of society and has the capacity to influence the places we live in and the environment around us.

As a multidisciplinary consultancy, we understand the importance of collaboration between teams in order to achieve the best results for our clients. Planning is especially reliant on collaboration between clients, landowners and other stakeholders, to solve challenges and unlock development potentials.

Planning often requires us to be creative in our approach to obtaining planning consents and challenging decisions. Problem solving is a key skill we hold as we aim to provide solutions for our clients which are within their interests of being both commercially viable and efficient.
