Ben Murphy

I joined the Birmingham Structures team as a graduate in 2021 after completing a year in industry within the team. I have an interest in low carbon design and have immersed myself in the Cundall Zero Carbon 2030 initiative which has led to me keeping sustainability at the forefront of structural project work.

The opportunity to provide a unique and optimal solution to a given problem has always been a key motivator in my work. Lateral thinking has been an important part of my involvement in the Circular Twin project, providing cutting edge sustainable alternatives to traditional structural practices.

Working with such a variety of building professionals from all over the world is something I am hugely grateful to be able to do. Listening to and learning from a range of talent and perspectives within the business and beyond is an important part of the culture at Cundall.
