Andrew Hird

I’ve always had an interest in the built environment, and this led to studying Town Planning at Newcastle University. After completing my studies, I developed practical experience working on a range of developments, ranging from Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for large scale renewable energy projects to inner city regeneration projects. Since joining Cundall in 2017, I have gained chartership with the RTPI, an associated IEMA membership, and have grown our environmental planning capability.

As a planning consultant, I collaborate with professionals every day. Whether it be with clients, our technical teams, or stakeholders, I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with technically gifted professionals. By integrating different opinions, we truly provide the best solutions for our clients and end users.

Creativity is at the heart of designing new sustainable solutions for the built environment. I constantly share my creative ideas with our technical teams for thorough review to ensure our projects are ofat the highest standard possible.
