Marlborough Sports Garden has won its second award in the Special Community Prize category of The New London Architecture awards, which celebrates projects of all sizes that contribute to the creation of a more sustainable, civilised, and egalitarian London.

The Marlborough Sports Garden is an award-winning community project to encourage young people from an inner-city location to get outdoors and enjoy sports and other activities. The facility includes a community café, dance and yoga studios along with beach volleyball, sprint track and other sports.

Cundall has been consulting on zero carbon MEP strategy, sustainable design and artistic lighting design for the garden, working alongside Cullinan Studios, Engenuiti, Turkington Martin and Bristow Consulting, as a pro-bono community project.
