The Team

Cundall are leading the way in the provision of creative and sustainable design solutions. To keep up with the demands of the organisation, we require a meticulous, collaborative, and dedicated Senior Administrator to join the UK&I Professional Support team, assisting multi-disciplined engineers in our Birmingham office as well as the rest of the UK and Ireland, working on exciting and award-winning construction design projects.

The Role

In line with the continuing growth of our business in the UK and internationally, we now wish to appoint a Senior Administrator to join our busy team in Birmingham providing comprehensive and varied administrative support to all departments.

The role includes:

  • Formatting of reports, schedules, specifications, fee proposals and other documents, ensuring conformity to Cundall standards.
  • Creating and distributing highly professional internal and external communication.
  • Supporting the Office Manager with various administrative tasks including arranging facilities maintenance.
  • Covering reception and front of house duties as required, including answering and transferring incoming calls.
  • Promptly and efficiently dealing with enquiries via telephone, email and in person.
  • Collaboration with engineering teams and project managers to assist with delivering projects, ensuring compliance to procedures and deadlines.
  • Project coordination, including collating multidisciplinary submissions and Quality Assurance checks.
  • Keeping of accurate records, filing of documentation and tracking progress.
  • Ad-hoc administrative support to all teams and departments as required.
  • Provision of training to the Birmingham office on the correct use of templates and compliance with our standards.
  • Some PA support to multiple partners, including assisting with diary management.

The Skills

With proven practical administration experience within a fast-paced and complex organisation, you have accumulated excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel, and also possess a highly organised and proactive approach to your work. You are used to working on multiple priorities and to tight deadlines, making use of your initiative, self-motivation and effective communication skills.

You have experience of taking instruction from multiple stakeholders, while also managing expectations and taking pride in the consistent delivery of excellent service. Experience of working within an international partnership or engineering consultancy would be advantageous.
