We are proud to announce that Plot 9a First Street was named Building Magazine Project of the Year at the 2025 Building Awards held in London last night.
Plot 9a is the latest phase of the First Street regeneration masterplan and will be a hub for the Government Property Agency (GPA) in Manchester.
The building embraces WELL building standard principles and is one of a handful of offices in the UK to have achieved a 5.5* NABERS Design Reviewed Target Rating. This was a key differentiator in GPA’s decision to choose Plot 9a.
Paul Kenyon, Partner, commented on the rewarding night: “Our client, ASK Real Estate and the rest of the design team embraced our sustainable design ethos and it’s great to see that recognised through an industry accolade like Building Magazine Project of the Year. I would like to thank everyone on the project team for Plot 9a for their hard work bringing this wonderful project to life through collaboration and brilliant ideas.”
Tomás Neeson, Chairman, also reflected on the evening: “It was great to catch up with clients and industry peers, celebrating the innovation and positive change our industry is working towards.”
Congratulations to all the winners!
